Get ready to explore the South Island of New Zealand for 8 days. If this isn’t something to look forward to I don’t know what is! This retreat is packed full of adventure, you won’t want to miss it.
New Zealand will blow you away at every turn. Just when you think you have had the most incredible day, just wait! It doesn’t stop.
Every detail of this retreat is carefully considered so you can experience as much of this beautiful country as possible. Unlike previous LPY Retreats, this trip will not focus on yoga and workouts, but instead we will prioritize daily activities and experiences in New Zealand.
Daily activities are always optional, so you can make this retreat as adventurous or chill as you want.

SOUTH ISLAND
Our adventure will begin in Queenstown where we will get adjusted to the time zone and explore this lakeside city and amazing views of the Southern Alps.
Our private driver will then take us into Fiordland to Milford Sound. This breathtaking location is a must-see. Our accommodations include Riverview Chalets at Milford Sound Lodge!
Our next destination will be Monapouri, at the south coast of the island overlooking Doubtful Sound.
Continuing on our adventure we will take time to explore the Catlins. This region of New Zealand is remote and untouched. We will hike to waterfalls and caves. You can expect to discover sea lions, penguins and seals right on the beach!
Finally we will finish our retreat in Dunedin. This urban city is a drastic contrast to the rugged landscape of the southern part of the island.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Hotels are carefully considered for this retreat! We will be moving through the South Island staying no more than 2 nights in any one place. Breakfast will be provided daily.

TRAVEL
Flights should be booked to arrive in Queenstown Airport (ZQN) on Feb 6, 2022.
Departing flights should be booked out of Dunedin (DUD) on Feb 13, 2022.
When booking consider a roundtrip ticket to and from Auckland (AKL) with additional flights within New Zealand booked as one-way flights.
Please note, when booking flights from the US to New Zealand there is a significant time change. Flights will likely depart on Feb 4th for arrival in New Zealand on Feb 6th.

**With travel currently in constant flux I will be in close contact with all retreat guests. Expect email communication as travel restrictions change, lift and tourism to New Zealand opens up through 2021.
Terms and Conditions
When travel restrictions are lifted a minimum of 2 weeks will be provided to all guests signed up to choose a refund of their deposit or transition it to a non-refundable deposit. 50% of your retreat balance is due by September 15, 2021. Final retreat payment will be due by November 15, 2021.
Should you need to cancel your reservation prior to September 15, 2021 you will receive a refund for payment made less than the $500 deposit (unless deposit is still fully refundable). Should you need to cancel your reservation prior to November 15, 2021 you will receive a refund for payment made less the $500 deposit and 50% balance (unless deposit is still fully refundable). Should you need to cancel after November 15, 2021 for whatever reason, we will not be able to provide a refund or credit (unless deposit is still fully refundable).

ABLE TASMAN – 3 NIGHT EXTENSION
Feb 13 – 16th 2022
All registered guests on the New Zealand Retreat have the opportunity to add-on to their adventure with this unique opportunity to hike and stay in Able Tasman National Park.
Able Tasman is a wilderness reserve at the the very north point of the South Island. This incredible park has over 80km of hiking trails that pass over beaches, through the jungle and through incredible rock formations.
We will have the unique opportunity to hike one-way through the park. Our luggage will be transferred for us by boat, so we can utilize every moment in this incredible place!
Accommodations are unique beachfront lodges within the park, exclusively kept by the National Park.
In addition to hiking, we will have the opportunity for swimming, kayaking and canyoning during our time in Able Tasman!
TRAVEL
All guests that join this extension will require a flight from Dunedin (DUD) to Nelson (NSN) on Feb 13, 2022.
Departing flight should be booked out of Nelson (NSN) on Feb 16, 2022.
